My First Fish

Mason is super thrilled as his summer vacation starts. He is even more thrilled to be going fishing with his dad. Join Mason as he goes with his dad to get fishing supplies – including live red worms (ewww!) -and learns to fish. He learns how to watch the bobber and the need to have lots of patience. Find out if Mason manages to catch a fish, or if he ends up going home empty-handed. The book is filled with illustrations and images to keep your child engaged and is written in a style to help develop their reading skills. This can be considered an early career book as Mason learns about different types of fish. The inspiration for writing this book came from my own experiences with my sons and I hope the book inspires you and your child to research and try fishing too – it’s fun! This book is targeted at early readers between the ages of 3 and 6. Please feel free to read aloud with your child or simply sit with them and enjoy as they read the story. This book will be of particular interest if you have a young one who has an interest in fishing.
